Glitch: a sudden malfunction or irregularity
The title of each piece in this series is meant to read like a product number. The ruff collars are meant to appear as if vibrating while creating the individual represented. The collar symbolizes everything that we “inherit” through genetics and family history when we are born. Things that are part of who we are via an unchosen chain. This series also concerns itself with “glitches in the system of production” and aims to challenge gender norms and expectations by pointing out the beauty created within the glitches.
